D — In Kooperation mit einem Krankenhaus führte das Institut für Supply Chain und
Operations Management (ISCOM) ein Forschungsprojekt zur Einführung einer modernen Lagerhal-
tung durch. Untersucht wurden unter anderem der OP-Bereich und die Anästhesieabteilung. Das
primäre Ziel lag darin, Erkenntnisse über die mögliche Implementierung eines Kanban-Systems in
den laufenden Betrieb zu erhalten, um das Pflegepersonal von pflegefremden Tätigkeiten (z. B. Be-
stellvorgängen) zugunsten pflegerischer Kernaufgaben zu entlasten. Im Ergebnis kann festgehalten
werden, dass die Neugestaltung der materialwirtschaftlichen Prozesse zu einer starken Entlastung
der personellen und räumlichen Ressourcen führt. Die Verschlankung und Standardisierung der
Prozesse ermöglichen den Versorgungsassistenten ein Arbeiten ohne erhebliche Mehrbelastung.
Zusätzlich lässt sich das Konzept mit überschaubarem Aufwand auf weitere Funktionsbereiche und
Stationen des Krankenhauses übertragen.

F — En coopération avec un hôpital, l‘Institut de Supply Chain und Operations
Management (ISCOM) accomplit un projet de recherche visant à introduire un système de gestion
moderne des stocks. Notamment les salles d‘opération et le service d‘anesthésie ont été étudiés.
L‘objectif primaire résidait en ceci : obtenir des éléments de connaissance sur la transposition pos-
sible d‘un système Kanban dans l‘exploitation en cours, afin d‘épargner aux personnels soignants les
activités étrangères aux soins (les passations de commande par exemple) et de leur permettre de se
concentrer sur leurs tâches « cœur de métier », les soins. Au final, on peut retenir que la réorganisa-
tion des processus de gestion matières a fortement délesté les ressources en personnel et en volu-
mes. L‘élagage et la standardisation des processus permettent à l‘aide-soignant de travailler sans
supplément de contrainte considérable. En outre, ce concept se laisse étendre à d‘autres domaines
fonctionnels et services de l‘hôpital sans perdre le contrôle des coûts.

E — In cooperation with a hospital, the Institute for Supply Chain and Operations
Management (ISCOM) carried out a research project on the development of modern warehousing
methods. Among others, the operating theatre and anaesthetics department were investigated. The
primary objective was to gain insights into the possible implementation of a kanban system during
running operations, in order to relieve the nursing personnel of non-nursing activities (e.g. material
ordering procedures), in favour of core nursing tasks. As a result, it can be noted that the reorganiza-
tion of materials management processes lead to a greater lessening of the loads on personnel and
space resources. The streamlining and standardisation of processes allows supply chain assistants
to work without a considerably greater load. In addition, the concept can be transferred across to
other hospital departments and nursing wards with only minor additional effort.
