D — Die Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (htw saar) ist der Re-
gion und aktuellen saarländischen Themen verbunden. Auf Initiative des Instituts B2E3 der Fakultät
für Architektur und Bauingenieurwesen sowie der Gemeinde Ensdorf entstand im Rahmen eines
hochschulinternen Initialförderungsprojekts eine Grundlagenstudie zur Folgenutzung des Bergwerks
Saar / Halde Duhamel. Die Grundlagenstudie bildet eine wichtige Basis für die städtebauliche und
bauleitplanerische Entwicklung des Gebiets und ist Bestandteil eines zielführenden Masterplans für
die Folgenutzung.

F — La Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (htw saar – Université
de sciences appliquées) est liée à sa région et aux thèmes d‘actualité du Land de la Sarre. Sur l‘initia-
tive de l‘Institut B2E3 de la faculté d‘architecture et d‘ingénierie, ainsi que de la commune d‘Ensdorf,
une étude fondamentale avait été réalisée sur l‘utilisation ultérieure de la mine de la Sarre / du terril
Duhamel dans le cadre d‘un projet d‘encouragement initial au sein de l‘École supérieure. Cette étude
fondamentale constitue une base importante pour le développement urbanistique de ce territoire et
le plan d‘occupation de ses sols ; elle fait partie intégrante d‘un schéma directeur visant l‘utilisation
ultérieure.

E — Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (htw saar – University of
Applied Sciences) is rooted in the region and in current topics affecting Saarland. On the initiative of
the B2E3 Institute of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and the municipality of Ens-
dorf, a baseline study was compiled on the follow-up use of the Saar mine/Duhamel spoil tip in the
context of an internal university initial funding project. The baseline study forms an important foun-
dation for the urban design and land use planning development of the region and forms a component
of a targeted follow-up use master plan.
